Our Inters girls travelled to Skerries in the afternoon for what was expected to be a challenging match. From the tip off, Boyne fought hard to hold back the Skerries attacks. The game ebbed back and forth until Skerries broke through and scored the opening goal or the game. Boyne kept their composure and rallied, pushing hard until finally they scored to equalise before half-time. Going into the 2nd half it was all to play for, but it wasn’t to be as Skerries scored 2 goals in the 2nd half to claim the victory. An impressive performance from a great Boyne team who did so well to make it to the semi-finals of the league.
